Kevin Lee Gearing Up for Fight of the Night

The Motown Phenom enters his main event matchup with Rafael dos Anjos having never had a UFC Fight of the Night. He is planning to change that this weekend at UFC Fight Night 152 in Rochester. Sporting a 17-4 career MMA record, Lee comes up against veteran Rafael dos Anjos this weekend.

This will be Lee’s first Welterweight fight of his career and his 5th straight main event. It shapes up as an interesting stylistic matchup that definitely has the potential to earn Lee his first Fight of the Night honors.

Charles Oliveira Ready for War

While Oliveira is quiet outside the octagon, he’s definitely been making noise with his recent performances. He has convincingly won each of his last 4 fights, winning Fight of the Night honors in each of them. Now, Charles insists he’s ready to face elite competition again.

The UFC have given him a rematch with heated rival Nik Lentz, who is 30-9 in his storied MMA career. Now at 29 years of age, Oliveira is firmly in his athletic prime. If he can deliver a solid knockout this weekend, a title shot doesn’t seem too far away.

Dos Anjos Would Consider Move Back to Lightweight

Despite fighting at Welterweight this weekend, the former Lightweight champion has said he would consider moving back down to Lightweight, as long as the fight was worth it. The obvious name here is Conor McGregor, who dos Anjos was scheduled to fight at UFC 196 before he broke his foot.

For now, dos Anjos is happy to be a part of the Welterweight division. If he can beat Kevin Lee this weekend, he doesn’t appear too far away from a title shot. That said, a big-money fight could definitely tempt him to return to 155.
