Edwards Steals the Show

In what was a very eventful night at UFC on ESPN 4, Leon Edwards emerges as our top storyline. He moved to 18-3 in his MMA career, managing a very impressive decision win over Rafael dos Anjos in the main event. This was a big step in Edwards’ career, finally managing a main event win on American soil. If he can keep getting this type of exposure, I wouldn’t rule out a future title shot.

Harris Impresses in Co-Main

It’d be tough to have a better night than Walt Harris did on Saturday. He defeated Aleksei Oleinik in just 12 seconds, eerily similar to Masvidal’s win over Askren.

It was one of the easiest wins of Harris’ career that will keep him in great shape if he wants to fight again soon. With some of the top contenders ageing out of the game, who knows what could happen if Harris keeps plugging along.

Hardy Keeps on Winning

While Juan Adams talked a ton of trash during the week, it was Hardy who did the talking inside the octagon. He absolutely demolished his opponent with a first-round knockout, landing 36 significant strikes compared to 3.

After hearing all the junk Adams was saying during the week, I bet that win feels amazing for Hardy. He is now 5-1 in his MMA career and really becoming a legit Heavyweight contender in front of our eyes.
