Dos Santos vs Ngannou Moved

Previously scheduled to take place at UFC 239, the fight between Junior Dos Santos and Francis Ngannou has been moved to the headliner for UFC on ESPN 3. This follows Tyron Woodley’s withdrawal from the event, where he was set to headline with Robbie Lawler.

As a result, Ngannou vs Dos Santos will now take place one week earlier, on June 29 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Both of these fighters enter this one in tremendous form, registering knockout wins earlier this year. The winner of this one looks set to get the next title fight at Heavyweight.

Arlovski and Rothwell Set for Rematch

After 11 years in the making, Andrei Arlovski and Ben Rothwell are finally set for their rematch. This will take place at UFC on ESPN 4, on July 20 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Neither of these fighters is in great form, both comfortably losing their most recent bouts.

That said,  as well-respected UFC veterans, neither of these men can be taken lightly. While their chances at a title shot are over these days, you can bet they’ll still be fighting for pride.

Malignaggi Claims ‘McGregor Has No Balls’

The controversial Paulie Malignaggi has piped up again, this time to have another go at Conor McGregor. The former world boxing champion made headlines after he was knocked down by McGregor in his preparations for the Floyd Mayweather fight. Malignaggi insists that the full tape of their sparring match would show a different story.

He defies McGregor’s lack of character and claims that the video was only leaked to help sell pay per views for the fight. As he takes on McGregor’s buddy Artem Lobov at Bare Knuckles FC 6 on June 22, I’m sure this isn’t the last we hear of this.
