Cerrone and Ferguson to Fight at UFC 238

After literally just beating Dustin Poirier last week, Donald Cerrone already has his next fight lined up. The two Lightweights will do battle at UFC 238 in Chicago on June 8.

Ferguson sports a very impressive 14-1 UFC record but has been out of action since a win over Anthony Pettis at UFC 229. Cerrone has been in excellent form of late and likely has a real shot at the title if he can knock off Ferguson. With two title fights already on the card, UFC 238 promises to be a stacked card

Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis Set for UFC 241

Nate Diaz will finally make his return to the octagon for UFC 241 this summer against Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis. The bout will occur at Welterweight and be the co-main event for what should be an exciting event in Anaheim.

Diaz hasn’t fought in the UFC for nearly 3 years since his infamous rematch with Conor McGregor in August 2016. His comeback was meant to occur against Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 before Poirier had to withdraw with injury. Despite a long absence, Diaz is still a formidable fighter at this level and represents an intriguing matchup with Pettis.

Cormier Claims Jones Trilogy Fight is His Decision

Current Heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier says it is his decision when he decides to fight Jon Jones for a third time. He has also claimed that the fight must take place at Light Heavyweight, meaning a gruelling weight cut will likely be involved.

Jones has gotten the better of DC in their two matchups so far, beating him by unanimous decision before brutally knocking him out in their second meeting. Cormier is next scheduled to fight against Stipe Miocic in August so it could be a while before this trilogy fight takes place.
