Khabib Dodging Conor Rematch?

After an epic win over Conor McGregor last time out, rumors have emerged that Khabib Nurmagomedov is dodging the rematch. Conor has been back in the news of late after sharing his side of the story with Tony Robbins. Essentially, Conor implied that he would only return to the UFC if he could fight Khabib again.

Khabib apparently isn’t interested in the rematch, potentially gearing up for a bout against either Tony Ferguson or Dustin Poirier. There’s never a dull moment with Conor in the UFC and I expect we’ll be hearing plenty more about this saga over the coming weeks.

Hardy and Adams to Fight in Texas

After trash talking each other on Twitter for the past few months, former NFL player Greg Hardy and UFC Heavyweight Juan Adams will now do battle in Texas. The bout is scheduled to take place at UFC on ESPN 4 on July 4 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

Having impressed in two previous main card fights, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hardy get another shot on the big stage here. Despite suffering his first UFC loss last time out, Adams is still very confident of his chances to beat the former footballer.

Viviane Araujo to Meet Alexis Davis

Having managed an impressive short-notice victory in her UFC bantamweight debut earlier this month, Viviane Araujo has another challenge to face. She is set to move to flyweight to take on Alexis Davis at UFC 240 in Edmonton. This event will take place at Rogers Place on July 27.

Araujo’s short-notice victory was incredibly impressive last time out, delivering a one-punch knockout after accepting the fight on just 4 days’ notice. Davis is as savvy a veteran as you’ll find and will definitely push Araujo all the way.
